What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a complete system of natural medicine that stimulates the body to heal itself.

 

How does homeopathy work?

It is based on the law recognised as early as Socrates that like cures like, therefore a Remedy is given that has a similar picture to that given by the mental, emotional and physical picture of a patient.  The Remedy then acts as stimulus to trigger your body to heal itself.

 

Why does Homeopathy Action Trust exist?

Homeopathy Action Trust is the membership charity that supports public understanding of homeopathy, for the benefit of patients, students and practitioners alike.  Lately the profession has been on the defensive and Homeopathy Action Trust works towards a more positive regard for homeopathy.

 

How and where did the organisation start?

In 2002 two charities, The Society of Homeopaths Trust Company and Friends of Homeopathy amalgamated to form Homeopathy Action Trust.

 

How is the organisation run?

Homeopathy Action Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees and run on a day-to-day basis by two part-time members of staff.

 

Where does Homeopathy Action Trust get its funding from?

Homeopathy Action Trust relies on the voluntary donations of individual supporters, and on grant-support from foundations.
