The Toby Henderson Trust -Centre for Autism Development

The Trust was set up in 1999 by Toby’s parents when he was diagnosed with the condition.
Since September 2005 when funding from the Homeopathy Action Trust was granted, we have been running a specific pilot project using homeopathic services. The main focus is to run free homeopathy clinics for families. Treatment is available to children and their families. The fully-booked clinics are held in Northumberland, twice a month.
The self-evaluation system MYMOP is used, and analysis of adults (carers) indicate that 80% showed significant improvement.
Everyone involved with the project feels that it is to date a very successful, positive experience:
“We have been really pleased with the service offered…the drops provided really did make a difference”
“Having the service provided by the Trust gives us confidence that the homeopath is bona fide”
“Discovering homeopathy through accessing the homeopathic clinic at the Toby Henderson Trust has quite simply changed our family’s life”
“Homeopathy offers a safe and non-threatening way in which to treat my special child and I am so grateful for this opportunity to be able to help him when he feels unwell”
And from networking partnerships throughout the region:
“We were all really impressed with the facilities and services you provide. It was really helpful for us to see it at first hand, having heard such a lot about the great work at the Trust from others. We all look forward to meeting you and working with you again in the near future” (National Autistic Society)
“I constantly hear from parents how well supported they feel by the centre” (Local Consultant Clinical Psychologist)
“Thank you once again for all of the marvelous support you are giving to such needy families” (Health Visitor)
